With all that’s going on in the event and entertainment industry right now, it’s more important than ever to capture the insights, ideas, and strategies from leading event and entertainment professionals in order to better understand what’s being done to cope with the COVID-19 crisis.

The two questions we asked in our COVID-19 Event & Entertainment Industry Survey were:

  1. Based on what you’re seeing with your customers, when do you see events being rescheduled?
  2. What are you doing in the short term to prepare for the future?

For question number one, answers were scattered among the months of May through October, with the majority of respondents stating that smaller events were being rescheduled in June with bigger events being targeted in the fall.

For question number two, the common thread across all responses was positivity. The majority of survey respondents are trying to maintain a positive attitude and looking at the current environment as an opportunity to tighten up operations.

Other highlights from question number two include:

  • Online training
  • Communication, communication, communication
  • Process improvement
  • Cleaning up
  • Being innovative
